Smart Locks Save The Day
Locks come in many styles and configurations to match any home's design.
We weren't running a race, fighting a battle or trying to win a marathon - though it felt very much like it.
We were just trying to get to dinner on time.
Running a few minutes late as usual, we hurried around the house, collecting jackets and bags and children.
"Did you grab my wallet?"
"Where are the babies' shoes?"
"Is it cold outside?"
We could almost recite these questions, they had become so common in our attempts to be places on time.
After everything and everyone was collected we rushed out the door, got in the car and raced off (a little too quickly) down the road. Then followed another all-too familiar conversation.
"I forgot to turn the lights off upstairs."
"Did you lock the door?"
"I meant to set the thermostat before we left."
At least, this used to be our life, until we got a Smart Lock for our home automation system.
Now as we're running out the door, I close it behind me and push one button on its keypad. The door locks, the lights turn off, the thermostat does its thing.
It's a load off my mind, every single time.
And if I forget to do even that - that simple press of a button - no big deal. I'll soon get a text reminding me to lock up while we're away.
Later, when I get home, I don't fumble for keys. I punch in my code and step through the door as lights come on to greet me.
Smart Locks add convenience, peace of mind, and yes, a little bit of magic, to every home they go in.
